    H2X,
I have maps showing every building that existed on the airfield as well as where each squadron was based, i don't have them scanned on my PC but i could send you copies if you PM your address to me or you could pick them up if you visit Kimbolton, i see you are just across the border in Bedford.

I just put out this same request last week. What timing. Can I possibly get copies. We are having a meeting with my Dad's Ground Crew Chief and Co-Pilot in December and I need this for a project for them.

    Cody,
Are you in the UK or US? I think if there is interest in this material i should make an effort to get it scanned so i can email it out anywhere in the world.
I will have a chat with my boss, he has a scanner.................

Thank you for the help and kind offers. I was passing thru Kimbolton yesterday and saw the airfield plan at the memorial which gave me where the squadron living areas were. I must make a trip to the go-kart museum. It would be good for families of vets if a scanned airfield map was put on here, I think to have all airfield plans in a seperate section of the forum would be good as they are fast disappearing.

I am in the US. I am going to Pooler, Georgia  the last week of November to see and talk with Airmen and family members of my Dad's former Crew at the Mighty 8th Museum. I have been collecting photos of Kimbolton and would love to have this added to our exhibit an.d website.
