Looking for information on My Uncle, his plane and crew 330th Bomber Squadron, 93rd Bomber

I am looking for information on My Uncle, his plane and crew 330th Bomber Squadron, 93rd Bomber. My Uncle was shot down over occupied France after the lead plane flew them over occupied france by mistake on the way back from a bombing mission. This is what I have so far: David J. Mahoney, Jr. Second Lieutenant US Army Air Forces Service Number O 698895 330th Bomber squadron, 93rd Bomber Group, Heavy Entered Service from New Jersey Died 13-June-1944 Buried at Plot N, Row 4, Grave 26 Brittany American Cemetery St. James, France Awards: Air Medal and Purple Heart Thanks. Tom, Your uncle was the Bombardier with the Hoffman crew on B-24H serial number 42-95153 named Per Diem. There is a Missing Air Crew report posted on Footnote.com. MACR 5912 runs some 30 pages but unfortunately most of the pages are essentially unreadable. Apparently there were only two survivors when the ship took a flak hit in the bomb bay. Wow! Thanks! I knew that two made it out alive. They verbally told the story to my Grandmother after the war. They were taken POW. They made it out but thier shoots never fully deployed and broke about every bone in their body. Unfortunatley, thats about all I knew about the story. I also knew he was the bombardier and more than likely was blow to bits when their ship was hit.
