Clarence R. Greene

The 381 has Clarence R. Greene, (my Dad), listed as a ground crewman. He was a tailgunner for many missions. Does anyone have a memory of this? Did he fly in the Tinker Toy?
He was injured in accident when a bomb was released during loading, and he lost most of his hearing. Does anyone remember that accident and the date?
Harvey Ivey, (mailman), and Dad were best friends in  England and stayed friends after returning home. This may help someone remember Dad.
Any info will be greatly appreciated. Dad passed away four years ago this month from complications after gall bladder surgery. He died in the VA Hospital, Johnson City, TN.
