F.O. Edward Grzesiek

I am researching my Uncle's Participation in Glider operations during World War 2. His name was Edward Grzesiek, and was assigned to the 80th squadron of the 436th T.C.G.  He died July 23,1945 enroute to the U.S. on the Isle of Skye in Scottland. We have located his grave, however we know very little about his participation in the war.
