Do you have a tail number for that B-17, with 452BG named "Cloud Chaser"?

    Nicholas,
Here is a link to what I believe is his wife's obit.  It mentions that she married Steven A Memovich who became a navigator in the Army Air Corps.  As of 2011, he was apparently still alive and living in Vancouver.  You can probably track him down (or relatives, possibly the son Greg S Memovich of Silverdale, WA)  by following clues in the obit.
    http://obits.columbian.com/obituaries/columbian/obituary.aspx?n=marilyn-memovich&pid=149037059&fhid=5644

If you use zabasearch.com  and search for a Steven A Memovich in Vancouver, WA you will come up with some addresses for an 87 year old man.  Quite possibly the person you seek.    A word of warning, zabasearch does not "remove" people who have died, so you can't assume the people it finds are still living, but it probably does find their last address.

One of the addresses you will find is also shown here:
    http://lawyers.justia.com/lawyer/steven-arthur-memovich-834371
which is for a Steven Arthur Memovich, a lawyer with almost 60 years of experience.

Zabasearch.com will also give you an address for a Greg S Memovich in Silverdale, WA.
Just using Google to search for a Greg Memovich in Silverdale, WA will find this, a
link to the lawyer Greg S Memovich of Silverdale.     Under the "inquires"  shown on the link,  there is a way to email him.

Another great people search engine is Anywho. Zaba has many repeats of the same name & anywho can be like an updated version.

This incident is a crash  on the Eyjafjalla Glacier in Iceland on 16 Sept 44  of B-17  43-38471 while enroute to the UK.   The pilot was C. J. McCollum.     Memovich was a member of the crew.  The complete list of crew members is:

MCCOLLUM, C. J.; HARDIN, FREDERICK N.; MEMOVICH, STEVEN A.; HARMS, JOSEPH F.; POLICK, EDWARD L.; LANE, OSCAR B.; CONGER, MORLEY R.; BELL, ROBERT S. JR; WEEMES, RICHARD; JENNINGS, MARVIN

There is s write up of the crash (in Icelandic) here:
    http://www.eyjafjoll.com/index.php/is/home/35-froeleiksmolar/136-stormasamt-flug
Google translate will give a rather fractured English translation of the incident.

    - Thanks RSwank you're awesome !
I have made a translation : they get lost and their plane suffered failures, then crash in the mountain and after 2/3 days they were rescued by dounw doing in the valley. No one lost, only light injuries

    - What a beginning to enter the war : a crash in icy Iceland ...

    - Now we have a crew name "C. J. McCollum" from Texas, maybe someone has the mission flown by this crew ?

    Thanks all

Have you tried here? A friend of mine uses them a lot for his background checks (he works as a HR manager) and he swears by them.
