The book, "In Search of Peace" by Michael D. Benarcik, copyright 1989, currently out of print, is loaded with photos of the 453rd, including many crew photos. You may be able to obtain a copy by doing a web search, but expect to pay around $100.00 for a good used copy. The book is absolutely beautiful and well worth the cost.

a reason of ours we are doing research for this crew and a/c is that a familymember of ours actually did have seen that the a/c was shot down above the Netherlands, Zeeland and see it crash in 1944. Last weekend during Memorial day we payed a visit at the 4 men who are buried at the American War Cemetery of Ardennes.
We hope to hear from any familymember or somebody who knew them.
