USAAF Miniature Models?

Does anyone know of any miniature models of USAAF aircraft that are available to buy? And I mean keyring (keychain) sized. I understand Axis & Allies produce a B-24 but only found in eBay auction that has ended.

Cheers,
Evan

Back in the mid 1980s, when Axis and Allies came out, my friend and I purchased every type of 1/700 airplane kits out there.  We modified the carriers to resemble Japanese carriers without the island.  Anyways, we were able to purchase all the Japanese Fighters, German Fighters and American Fighters (P-51D, P-47D Razorback, P-38, P-40, B-25B [these were part of the Doolittle Raider Carrier set] and the B-29).  I still have all of these small airplanes.  They even came with decals.  We were also able to get all USN fighters and bombers.  And Japanese Betty and Dinah bombers; German JU-52, ME 262, He111 and ME 163 too.

These kits can be found on the internet if you dig a little.  The scale was 1/700 -- some were part of the "Waterline" series of model ships.  We also bought custom soliders and painted them; also Tiger and Japanese Tanks.  Remember, this was over 20 years ago when I bought these kits---late 1980s.  They really enhanced our marathon Axis and Allies games (some lasting over a two or three day session).  Rather play Axis and Allies on the board instead of the keys any day.

    Good Luck.

Thanks for the response. I did a search for 1/700 models and found this hobby site in Japan. Can't see any USAAF bombers yet but they do sell some great selections with affordable UK postage too.

Rather off topic, but perhaps someone here can answer a question that has bothered me for around 65 years.
The photos below show three planes from a series that just sort of appeared during WW2. They bear no manufacturer's imprint - in the case of the Fortress just "B-17" on the bottom of the right wing and "Boeing Fortress" on the left. I don't recall ever seeing any packaging or seeing them for sale. I have multiple  B-17s, which are always blue, and B-29s which are always red. They appear to be in the same scale, with the B-29 having a 4 and 3/16" wingspan. Were they possibly cereal box toys?

Cereal box toys is a good bet. You've given me a good idea for painting my models when I get them.

I've bought a 1/144 Me262 and have found Liberators at the same scale in a local toy shop.
