B-25 "Bold Venture" Crashed in Hong Kong

Can anyone tell me about a B-25 that crashed on a bombing mission over HK in 1944 ? I believe 5 Americans were killed and it was with the  345th BG, 500th BS. Any information would be appreciated. Many thanks.

    Thomas,

    Date was 15 March 1945. Serial 43-36171.
    From Joe Baugher's website:
    36171 (345th BG, 500th BS, "Bold Venture") crashed on a mission over
    Hong Kong Harbor Mar 15, 1945. Aircraft was caught in the
    explosion of a freighter from the preceding aircraft's bomb run
    and crashed into a ridgeline. All 5 onboard killed. Regards,

    B-25-11 # 43-36171  BOLD VENTURE

    2Lt. Robert W. Jensen, pilot;
    2Lt. Orville L. Garrison, co-pilot;
    Sgt. Henry M. Worley, engineer;
    Cpl. Frank M. Tubb, radio operator;
    Sgt. Robert H. Waggy, gunner;

    B-25-11-# 43-36171  BOLD VENTURE was making a pass behind Capt. Herman F. Reheis on a Japanese freighter anchored near Hong Kong.  Fragments from a bomb dropped by Reheis hit Lt. Jensen's open bomb bay and the right engine.  The pilot feathered the propeller and attempted to pull the airplane up to avoid striking a 75-foot ridge line, but the airplane stalled and crashed about 16 miles northwest of Hong Kong, exploding into flames upon impact.

    Many thanks. The 16051 MACR doesn't seem to exist. Were all the remains returned to the US ?

    Do a footnote search for Robert W. Jensen. Footnote shows a MACR of 16415. However, images on footnote show 15447. Pages 5 & 6 mention Jensen and the crash.
