    B-17G # 42-38169, 94th BG/ 331st BS. MACR 2998. 5 KIA-5 POW
    The Radio Operator is interesting and I want to ask if this happens a lot.
    S/Sgt. Gerald Silver was not his name. His real name was Whitey Meltzer, a Jew
    of Brooklyn NY. We all know what the Germans did with Jews and so Whitey took
    another name.

    Thanks, 25Kingman49! Very much appreciated. I'm the Joe referenced as the source on the picture that was linked, both actually as I provided the other to the 94thBG. I didn't have a full copy of the MACR though. Now I do! Thank you!
