I have a little statement write by Lt. Shuford, "5 weeks in 1944" with the account of his escape. He meet some other Allied escaped pilots and British POW in the area of the British SOE mission "Toffee" leaded by Captain Charles Holland (after the war founder and CEO of the Amplifon Company), and the partisan "4th GL" and "47th Garibaldi" brigades
