I am researching Sgt. Wm. T. Ennis, engineer-gunner on 44-41053. I have the MACR which indicates he was shot down on 1st mission. Family says it wasn't his first. Anyone know/remember him? Any information about him personally or about that mission would be greatly appreciated. What was target? I know I'm asking a lot - but, any bit someone might be able to add will be appreciated. Thank you. Hugh

According to the 464th's website the target was: " Vienna, Austria — Diesel CaterreicheSaurerwerke" You can also get the NMR(narrative mission report) from their site here. These were compiled by Bob Hoskinson, a member of the 464th and a member of this forum. Do you have his records? Look here for some research tips that may assist you.
