His serial #38134070, Sergeant in the 347th Bomber Squadron, 99th Bombardment Group Heavy, 5th Wing, 15th Army Air Force. He was on a bombing mission to raid Odertal, near Blechhammer. Part of the B-17 #42-32097 nick-named "Slipstream" on its 90th mission. Sherwood Buster, pilot; Randolph, Mansella, Massey, Penson, Anton, Bergman, Davis, Lary. MACR #10635. Lary's full name was "Robert E. Lary; Sergeant AAF, entered the Service from Oklahoma. Both Lary and my uncle are Buried at the Lorraine American Cemetary, in St. Avold, France ( &lt;a href="http://www.american" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" title="http://www.american"&gt;www.american&lt;/a&gt; wardead.com/ ).
