The guys who flew ahead of the bombers in P-51 Mustangs and scouted the enroute weathr and the targets for the Mission Commanders. <br><br>Ernie Yeager of the 390th was quoted as saying he flew with the 3rd scouting Force out of Wormingford. He has passed away but I am looking for anyone who knew him in the 390th and knew when he left to go to the Scouts. <br><br>E.
