Before that the 303d was stationed at Podington - possibly this mission was flown by them.
[signature]

Looking for information on B-1... (Guest)

Email: parapub@dtgnet.com Imported from Discus on 1/2/2002
Looking for information on B-17 called "Dottie" out of "Poddington" or "Hoddington" England. Aircraft shot down by German fighters March 16, 1942 over France while on run to Hamburg, Germany. Nine of ten crew believed to have survived, four captured by Germans, others escaped through French underground. Am writing newspaper story about one of the escapees, Andy Brenden, left waistgunner on flight. Any information would be helpful. Thanks!
