Dear Reader,

On Thanksgiving Day 1944 a B-17 of the 381stBG crashed behind our house in Apeldoorn (Netherlands. I was a nine years old schoolboy then.

A couple of months ago I got connected to internet, providing me with an excellent tool to learn more about "my" Flying Fortress.

I now would like to extend my research to the complete 8thAF mission of that day, i.e. November 26, 1944.

The 91stBG also went to Altenbeken. I'm very interested in the 91stBG Mission Report for that day and also in the squadron mission reports. I would very much like to get in contact with 91stBG members who flew that mission and could perhaps provide me with some background information.
