(I think) of the 82nd Airborne.
Tom flew into Normandy with George Ford. George and Tom flew in a group of the 319th with a 75MM and Jeep."

If Moore and Ford flew a glider with Jeep and gun they were flying a Horsa, not a CG-4A as in your picture. As Hans posted, the pictured glider was for Market. OR, based on dress, it may have been posed in England, not related to a mission. 48 Horsa gliders carrying 319th FAB flew in serial 32, landing approx. 2300 hours June 6, 1944. There were four Horsa gliders in this serial landed with useable Jeep and gun combinations, all landed 3 to 5 miles from the LZ. Both men also flew (though not likely together) CG-4A gliders is Market and Varsity. Both were Troop Carrier, not 82nd. A/B. Ford died in Aug 1997, Moore died in Sept 2006.

This info courtesy of the National World War II Glider Pilots Association, Inc. to which you may become a supporting affiliate member by asking.

Re:Thomas J.
