Derr flying two missions on 11 September 1944 and 15 March 1945. Information is from the Unit Load Lists. I suspect the remaining missions may have 'Chow Hound' missions. The Group kept no records of those missions.
The National Archives lists a Wilbur J. Derr as enlisting in the Air Corps, August 1941 in Pennsylvania. Born 1921, Is this your Father?
PM me your email address. I will forward what information I have to you.
Please advise.

Thank you, Howard
Re:Trying to find missions my Dad flew on (mike)

Bob,

Check here for starters ...
http://mighty8thaf.preller.us/php/1Unit.php?Unitkey=452

http://www.angelfire.com/ne2/b17sunriseserenade/

Mike
Trying to find missions my Dad flew on (rderr)

My Dad, Wilbur J Derr was a ground crew chief for the 452, 730 sq at Doepham Green. He has since passed away and He had said he had flown on 5 missions, one going into Russia. I am trying to locate what missions he flew on. I also have pictures of him with "Punched Fowl" and E-Rat-Icator.
Thanks Bob Derr
