The caption reads:
P-61A 42-5564 "Jukin' Judy" of the 422nd Night Fighter Squadron, late August 1944.
P-61A 42-5573 "Lovely Lady" of the 422nd Night Fighter Squadron. P-61A 42-5536 "Husslin' Hussey" of the 422nd Night Fighter Squadron. Normally assigned to 1LT Donald J. Doyle and 2LT Norman N. Williams, they were flying P-61A serial 42-5538 'Laura Lil' on an intruder mission the night of 12 October 1944. Patrolling near Ostheim airdrome, Germany, Doyle's last transmission was, "Hot target, see you later." The wreckage of their aircraft was found by German forces on the Autobahn, near the bridge at Wiedmuhle; both Doyle and Williams were killed.

Hi to all here,
a few weeks ago i found the crashsite of this P-61 in area of a bridge/germany...
since today i found more than 50 wreckparts and some munition( 20 mm and 12,9 mm ) from the weapons.
Date of crash and two dead crewmembers is known (MACR)
I´m interested in history of the crewmembers and this aircraft, "Laura LiL"( ??).....
searching photos and historc material, dates of missions, colour-cheme from this aircraft, etc....
all informations are welcome....
