This was known as "Mission Red Ball".&nbsp;&nbsp; It involved 28 C-47s from 3 squadrons from the 438th.&nbsp; It was a small combat operation and no enemy fire was encountered.&nbsp; They had fighter escort throughout the mission. I think because it was small and trouble free there is not much to say on the mission so I am having trouble finding specific.
