(swissmustangs)</title><description> Alex&lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; both a/c were lost with 2/Lt. Paul J. Murphy (O-745473) of 325th FG 318th FS&lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; 44-13430 was # A47 "Lady Jane [port side] / McGuire [stbd side]" and lost on 14th March 1945; MACR # 12993; Murphy was last heard from 20 mi W of Budapest, Hungary - saying he was headed for Russia - he evaded capture&lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; Murphy returned to his unit, only to be lost again&lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; 44-14467 was # 40 "Mary Mac", lost on 2nd April 1945; MACR # 14148; at at 47° 35' N, 17° 2' E, Kaposvar, Hungary&lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; The ultimate fate for both a/c is unknow, but they definitely didn't return to USAAF control after being lost&lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; HTH&lt;br&gt; Martin&lt;br&gt;</description><link>http://forum.armyairforces.com/FindPost/198290</link><pubDate>Mon, 24 Jan 2011 14:35:44 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title>Ultimate fate of two P51's ?
