(WillowRun)

If you enjoyed this film, you might also want to pick up a copy of Bomber Pilot about the career of Jimmy Stewart in the AAF. Although not destined to be a classic (refer to link from "Book Corner" sub-forum), it tells a good story about a man (an actor) who became a pilot and then "moved through the ranks" in the AAF. He was a leader of men and was more than just a "Hollywood promo person." Strangely enough, having participated in WWII and flown missions in the ETO, I believe he did not "act in WWII movies" upon returning to his acting career after the war. Best Regards! Steven
http://forum.armyairforces.com/m_83606/mpage_1/key_bomber%2cpilot/tm.htm#83614

RE: B-17s at war, color film; Lt. For those of you who can live without the high quality DVD version, you can download the film online in four parts from this website:
http://www.archive.org/details/CombatAm1945
The movie is in the public domain.
