Here are a couple of other nose art shots of "Big Hairy Bird".
The small colour image is a snapshot taken from a piece of 16mm movie film, and shows the aircraft taxiing out at Perrone, France.
The colour plate is from a book.

Mike this photo is in at least 3 books, but from 2 slightly different angles; if you are making a model please note the non-regulation D-Day bands , 3 white and 3 black instead of 3 white, 2 black. Nick

It have many decals and draws of Big Hairy Bird , 42-96165, 397th BG.
But I think not one is correct. How looks it in real? Have someone a photo of the nose section of this aircraft?
