  So far the only info I have found is from a book I have. Under "New Crews Assigned August 44 "  it list the following info. Your father is listed in the National Archives enlistment records.  He joined the service on October 16, 1942 in Los Angeles, California.  His serial number was 19162021.  He was born in Missouri in 1916.
