rbgetz 390th BG, 570th BS, "Liberty Belle") hit by flak over Germany on return from raid on Cheb, Czechoslovakia Feb 14, 1945. Heavily damaged and landed at base at Ophoven, Belgium.  2 crew were killed and oneinjured.  Plane salvaged Feb 18, 1945.  The plane currently flying as 42-97849 is actually 44-85734.
