tonystro I believe it is a Stinson Reliant; a popular single- engine, four to five seat plane manufactured from 1933 to 1941 by the StinsonAircraft Division of the Aviation Manufacturing Corporation of Wayne, Michigan.  Location is an airfield in the U.S., perhaps an Aviation Cadet Primary Training site.
gmasher Definitely not a Reliant - more like a late model Stinson Junior... but I'm still digging. A shame we can't read the registration number on the top of the rudder...
