name of B-17

Is there any way of finding out the name of the B-17 my uncle was on?  The MACR is 15097, serial #2969.  It crashed into the Bay of Biscay Nov. 17, 1942.
Would there have been a name on it or just the serial number?  I would like
to find a picture of it or the crew...hard to find since my uncle, SGT Welcome L. Talbot, was with some of the first crews to arrive in England in mid 1942.

Thanks for any help.

Jan...I checked the entry in Venit Hora and the plane carrying General Asa N. Duncan was not named, or at least there is no record of a name.

Dick Drain's 5th Wing History Of Aircraft Assigned only shows the aircraft number as 42-2969.
Dick Drain was very careful in compiling the information for the 5th WIng History to be meticulous in detail, and if the aircraft had a name, he noted it.
