Geof referred to the crew of my father, Bill Bischoff, who was the navigator on "Blondes Away." I would very much like to get in contact with the children of the other crew members and, if possible, get a picture of the crew. According to my father's IDPF, he was the only survivor of the bomber crew and was executed on the day after his capture by a Japanese officer. He is listed as MIA as his remains could not be recovered.

I am doing research on Bernard Pena who was my mother's cousin. In the photo of the crew in front of the plane, he is the one sitting with the light colored uniform (I am pretty sure). If you need information on his, I will be glad to provide.

Hi Peggy, The B-24 with the crew picture is # 41-28629. The one that Bernard Pena flew on was # 42-110006. I'll let my sister-in-law know you are doing some research on Bernard. She did post 21 in this thread.
