Military report of seperation -Help understanding report

Hi, I just picked up a copy of my grandfather`s Report of Seperation  from the county courthouse. I have a question as to what he would have been entitled to. The following is what it states which is the obvious, my question will follow at the end.

Service schools attended - Gunnery 5 Weeks
Military Qualifications - None
Total length of service - Continental service-1 yr 9 months  22 days  Foreign -1 yr 5 months 23 days
Remarks -  15 days lost under AW 107
                  3 overseas bars
                   1 Lapel button issued
                  ASR score 92 points ( 2 sep 45 )
My question is :  Would he be entitled to a victory medal (ribbon), American capaign ribbon ?
He does have  a good conduct ribbon with his eto ribbon w/ 3 battle stars,DUCw/olc, purple heart and air medal.w/2 olc( I have these) I also know that on his uniform he had a armament specialist patch on his sleeve and a Engineering specialist patch among his belongings.He was a Ball Turrret gunner Is it possible he was a ap armour while in the ETO and then when he came back to the states he earned the engineering specialist? I know he was all over the states at different bases both before going overseas and after .  I am kind of at a loss with understanding this and it seems based on what I know ,some things are missing on this report.  By the way, he was discharged from Traux field Madison WI on Oct 18, 1945. Any help with this would be REALLY appreciated. Thank You!
 

Rob, Yes for both medals and ribbons. It appears he spent a year or more in the continental limits of the USA to qualify for the American Campaign Medal.

Thanks for your reply. Any reason as to why they would not be listed on his seperation paper? They didn`t list that he had 3 battle stars on his ETO ribbon, his good conduct medal or that he had a OLC on his DUC ?  They didn`t even list his schools he went to or qualifications or that he was authorized to wear Aerial Gunner wings.
Could there be other information listed on other paperwork like a DD2-14 , etc? All his paperwork in St. Louis ,MO I was told was destroyed in the fire.Ther just seems like a lot of information is missing on this seperation paper. An opinions?

Depending on when you submitted the request for his paperwork...it is my understanding that SOME records have been salvaged..so to speak...from the burned records...that is....there may be burned edges and some are unreadable,but, there has been some success in the rescue of some records.
 
A re-submit for the records may be in order, to see if your relatives fall into the partially burned records.
 
This is what has been going around...it may be true,and again may be just a story...it would not hurt to check.
