A friend of mine is trying to establish the s/n and group/squadron assignment of 'Rough Stuff'.

Comparing pictures between yours and the one shown on the pacificwrecks site, it looks like "Esther" got painted out.

Bob,
I just looked at the two pictures again.  Maybe a censor painted out "Esther" as all the "bomb" symbols for the completed missions are gone too, (probably along with the serial number under the pilot window).
