A good friend of mine told me after he was shot down over France he was adied by Resistance but then picked up by Canadians/English in Caen and sent to London for questioning. Does anyone know how or if there is a way to see the transcripts and or paper trail for that interigation.

The British government maintains their archives at the Kew facility in Surrey and they have a similair organization to the U.S. Archives at College Park Maryland.  I suggest you write them giving the particulars of the query you wish to make and they will advise if the records can be found and at what cost.

They will not spend a lot of time searching for you, especially if you do not have detailed information, so you may have to hire a researcher.  The British Archives WEB site lists a few you may wish to contact.

The Kew facility charges for copies and typical searches ended up costing about $20-25 which can be paid via credit card.  I have found the institution responsive and they usually turn things around within 30 days.
