Hi, I'm trying track down the history of this particular F-5E and what happened to it after the war. That's my Grandpa in the photo. I have a 27th PRS history, but no remarks or final disposition is shown for this particular aircraft. I've Googled quite a bit, but have run out of leads. Any details or places to look appreciated. thanks, Shane [image]local://15959/EF650D841B214C0882E9803DBF057D1A.JPG[/image]

Terry, Thank you so much. Does 'condemned salvage' mean the aircraft was destroyed in Europe rather than being returned to the States or sold to another country's air force? thanks, Shane
