Hi, I'm trying track down the history of this particular F-5E and what happened to it after the war.
That's my Grandpa in the photo.   I have a 27th PRS history, but no remarks or final disposition is shown for this particular aircraft.  I've Googled quite a bit, but have run out of leads.  Any details or places to look appreciated.

thanks,
Shane

Terry,

Thank you so much.  Does 'condemned salvage' mean the aircraft was destroyed in Europe rather than being returned to the States or sold to another country's air force?

thanks,
Shane
