Are you looking for specific information regarding the LoM?  Or something more generic, such as: http://www.tioh.hqda.pentagon.mil/Awards/LOM1.html and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legion_of_Merit

When researching remember Google is your friend.  A search using "Legion Merit Medal" returns 1,210,000 hits.  The US Air Force fact sheet is at http://www.afpc.randolph.af.mil/library/factsheets/factsheet.asp?id=7732
