I posted this on the main site and was given the link to this one. I'm trying to find a nice sized picture of the Flying Horse insignia for the group for a C47 restoration at a local air museum. We need to be able to reconstruct the insignia with accuracy in the color scheme. I found a tiny picture of an 8th TCW patch on the net but it's really too small to tell much detail. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Karl - Have you tried the Air Mobility Museum in Dover ?

As I posted on the main site, I think I have found what I needed which was mainly to verify if the patch used for the 62nd group was the same as the 8th Squadron insignia and I believe it is. I needed to verify the color scheme and from speaking with my dad, who flew C47s and CG4As in the 62nd, it sounds like I found the right one so as soon as I get him what I found, the restoration can continue. The air museum has both of those aircraft and should make a nice looking pair when they are completed.
