Hello,

When I was searching information about a fighter pilot, Cpt Benjamin Martin T, based at Steeple morden in 1943, shootdown on 01/29/1944 and saved by the underground, I found another name, Lt Roland McRae.
I think he was from the 324th Bomb Squadron/91st Bomb Group Pilot of B-17 at Bassingborn and was a friend of Cpt Benjamin Matin T. His name and ranks were Lt Roland McRae. In a letter received from B. Martin.T sended to my father-in-law, who with his brother, hid Lt Martin in their attic just after his crash, he wrote that he met Lt Roland McRae at Steeple Morden and related that some photos of his P-47 were taken from the B-17 flying over the base.

I'like to found information about this Lt and if it's possible to contact him for more informations about Cpt Benjamin Martin. T who is deceased ?

Thank for informations...

Herchuel,

If this is the man you seek, you may be able to find his postal address or telephone number by contacting the Air Force Memorial Foundation at the URL provided at attachment?

Good luck
