My grandfather was indeed John K. Taylor. He was assigned to the 79th in early 1945 - right around the time that Cliff Kies was wounded. When John was assigned MC-N it was already named "Little Roue" and he apparently decided not to change the name but he did add the "Sissy-Sandy" to the canopy frame. Sissy was his nickname for my grandmother and Sandy is my mother. So, you are correct, when he flew MC-N it bore both markings.

Dave - I will find a suitable photo of John to forward. You seem to be collecting a lot of information about various aircraft. Are you putting together some kind of collection or publication?
