I don't know where the name "FOUR EYES" came from. I have photos of 42-40655 on the ground and in flight with the S/N clearly visible and named DAMFINO. Also; Amos Nicholson has told me personally, he painted the nose art. Herb

Herb - The Name is from a Book that Joe Colasuanno gave me. The Desert Rats by Michael Hill. If incorrect , I will refrain from using that name. Also - it lists 665 as last 3 numbers - Incorrect Also ? Mike

Blundell, a photographer attached to the 98th BG who published his memoirs in this book.
