finding info about W.H. Wingate

My father, William H, Wingate was also part of the 11th Bomb Squadron,341st Bomb Group, 14th Air Force in the China-Burma-India (CBI) theater. He was there November '43 to December '45. He was a 1st lieutenant, Navigator / Bombardier but I don't know which plane or any missions.
If anyone could give me any advice on seeking military records and the like, I would appreciate any help you could send me.
