To the 381st bg veterans! Good day! Herewith we would like you to know that my wife Josephine Vos and I, Anton van Reeken, (we live in Maastricht) from now have adopted two names of the Wall of missing soldiers in Margraten Netherlands-American Cemetery. The missing soldiers are BEUS Raymon C. (SGT) of 533 BOMB SQ 381 Bomb gp/h/ from Utah and NOXON Donald E. (2LT) of 535 BOMB SQ 381 Bomp gp/h/ from Colorado. We welcome contact with relatives of these two missing soldiers. We also welcome any information about these men. With kind regards, Anton van Reeken (Maastricht, the Netherlands)

Hi Anton, First, thank you for adopting these men and honoring their memory. Sgt Raymond C. Beus was the RW gunner on 42-37719 "Hellcat" or "Dinah Might" when it ditched in the Zuider Zee due to flak. There were 9 KIA and 1 POW. MACR 1881 covers this downing. 2Lt Donald E. Noxon was the pilot of 42-31111 MS R/Y "Four Aces Pat Hand" when it failed to return due to flak and crashed at Koln, ? There were 10 KIA. MACR 1659 covers this downing. MACRs are available online at www.footnote.com or free of charge from Lynn.Gamma@MAXWELL.AF.MIL Vic
Vic Walzel, brother of 1st Lt Leland H. Walzel, bombardier with the 93rd Bomb Group, 330th Squadron. KIA 6 March 1944 on his 25th mission. www.lelandwalzel.150m.com
