XENOPHON E. EUGENEDES - 08/15/2004 08:28:26 AM
Does anyone remember Xenophon E. Eugenedes, 0-511628, 27th Photographic Squadron based at Chalgrove , England. He died Sept. 11th 1945 flying a P38 in Wales. Any info would be most Helpful. Thanks, Neal [signature]

Neal...Please go to the Research Block at the top of this page,if you want to obtain a copy of the Accident Report. There will not be a MACR as he crashed in friendly territory....the MACR is for aircrew lost in enemy controlled territory. Jim :-) [signature]

The aircraft he was flying was an F-5E-4-LO Ser #44-24229. I have no additional information.

I have been researching this crash for several years and have a lot of info on the pilot and the aircraft.let me know what you need and your postal address and I'll be happy to send it along. if you don't mind my asking what is your interest in Lt Eugenedes?

There were several people who posted notices saying that they had information about Xenophon E. Eugenedes.  I would really appreciate them contacting me as he is my uncle and I know very little about his death except that he died in a plane crash in 1945 flying a P38.  Thank you so much.

My interest about the operational duty of your uncle is strong but
unfortunately I don't have informations or photos from him.
Can you help me please?
 
Today I send a mail to Matt Rimmer and informed him about your
interest. I suppose he answer to you soon.
 
In a site with "accident reports" I found for your uncle "hitting on the ground
during a low level flight". I ordered the MACR and I waiting...
