What is this thing? - 11/17/2007 01:50:01 AM
Howdy Folks.  A year ago while working in a attic of an older barn turned shop, I found this little treasure.  Now living across the mountain range from the old Army Air base location and being that my uncle and many other B-17 and B-24 crews trained there before going over seas I was very excited to have found it. Can anyone help me confirm what it is? I'm pretty sure it's a tag of some sorts but hanging on anything it would read upside down and it is slightly torn/broken around the hook area. It's made of some kind of pressed fiber baord.

Except for the fact that it's made of pressed fiber board I would suspect that it is some sort of 'gate pass' or parking permit that would be attached to a car's license plate.
