Weight of Browning AN-M2 machine gun ammo cans

Hello,

I am looking for the weight of the small-sized belt cans used with the .30 and .50-calibre Browning AN-M2 machine guns in some flexible installations such as on the Catalina. The ones for the .30-calibre guns held 100-round belts, the ones for the .50-calibre guns held 50-round belts; the former were called L-4 or L-7, I believe. Would someone know how much these cans weighed, empty and/or full? What were the stowage arrangements for these, especially on the various Catalina patterns?

    I have some of these (SOMEWHERE ) in my storage shed. I will try to get them out and weigh them as I have time.

    No joy on weight of PBY/OA-10 ammo cans but weight of 100 rds. of linked .50 caliber is approximately 35 pounds as described below.
