Again seeking the photo filter gurus, I think this might be BM371, Spitfire Productions web page provide the following, FF 28-3-42 45MU 1-4-42 309S 30-6-42 CB ops FAAC 4-7-42 ros MMO 31-1-44 mods 33MU RNDA 9-2-44 Lee on Solent 23-2-44 as trainer 886S Henstridge wheels-up landing Cat X1 17-3-44 (S/L WA Wallace) 808S 3-44 to 4-44 761S Henstridge 6-44 719S St Merryn 7-44 Stbd wheel ran off runway tyre burst on nose Cat ZZ 2-12-44 (S/L TF Scott)
I agree only the last 3 digits are vaguly visable but thought it was worth a try. Paint scheme would suggest England to me.
