WW2 USAAF personal Items

As part of my living history impression I am trying to work out what sort of personal items a gunner would carry on missions such as photo's, cigarettes, lucky items etc...

Would anyone be able to elaborate on such items being carried on missions to help make my impression better and more accurate, Thanks :)

There are many items that have shown up in the MACRs from the German inventory of pockets.
Fountain pens, pencils,  combs, nail clippers, nail scissors, nail file, wallets with photos, coins, matches, cigarette lighters, rosary, signal mirror, small first aid kits, jack knife, keys (often inventoried as "keys to aircraft", more likely locker keys), letters, chewing gum, cigarette case (always seems to be empty), ticket stubs, passport photos, prayer book, small "bible" (New Testament?) , gloves (both cloth and leather), booklet with addresses, sewing kits, pocket calendar,  etc.    Often it is clear some of the items have come from escape kits and you see listed, compasses, saws,  packets of money, pills, (probably water purification and/or benzedrine) maps, etc.
