Very interesting article Phil, thanks for bringing it to our attention.

It was very gratifying to read that justice caught up with the 'hero'
that shot Lt. Steinwedel while he was helplessly dangling from a
rooftop in his parachute harness.

We should probably thank the good citizens of Chievres, Belgium for
seeing to it that this murderer was brought to trial after the war.
