Thomas Workman 7th BG, 492nd BS - 03/23/2007 05:31:03 PM
I was looking for information on my grandfather. He was in the 7th BG and the 492nd BS. He passed away a year ago and didn't talked much about the war. His name was Thomas "Tommy" David Workman he was from west Texas and he was a bombardier in a B-24. Other than that, I'm not sure what the name of his plane was or which missions he flew. Any information would really help. Thanks and God bless,

He is listed on their roster. Go to Crew photos , then 492d. Click on Photo to enlarge and see names.
If you don't see him /his name  - click website contact and ask for info. Also sign Guestbook

Jay,
Your grandfather was with the 492BS/7BG.  He graduated from bombardier school at Carlsbad, NM class 43-18.  For more info on bombardiers, go to my website, the link is part of my signature.
