Tail Numbers

Looking for the tail number of the aircraft flown by Capt Douglas C Weaver when it crashed on 8 May 1943.  He was assigned to the 11th Bombardment Squadron, 341st Bombardment Group (Medium)
 
Also trying to find the tail number of the aircraft flown by 1Lt Herbert J Jewett when it crashed on 28 May 1944.  He was assigned to the 490th Bombardment Squadron, 341st Bombardment Group (Medium)

    It has taken a very long time, but now have the information.
     
    Captain Douglas C. Weaver and crew perished in B-25C #41-12670, Lonesome Polecat, on 8 May 43.
     
    1Lt. Herbert J. Jewett was actually copilot on 490th BmSq B-25 piloted by 2Lt. Francis H. Pottwine, O-750682.  Unfortunately I still haven't determined the aircraft serial number.
