T-36/T square 36

I am trying to find photos and information on this plane and crew.
I knew the bombardier and had all his files and photos until I sent them back to him to use at a reunion he was attending.

    Mr. Pluff:

I have two photographs of the T-Square-36.  One in flight after it was damaged by Japaneses fighters and leaking fuel, and one on the runway in Iwo Jima with its #3 engine on fire.

My father, Carl T. Moden, was the flight engineer.

My name is Tony Kelder.  Your father Carl T. Moden was a very good friend of my Grandfather Orlin Edwin Welker (aka Ed or Eddie Welker).  They served together both as flight engineers, although not on the same aircrafts, and remained friends until your father passing. It seems my grandfather lent all or most of his pictures to your father to copy many years ago. My grandfather always figured he passed away before he ever got them copied . For all these years my grandfather has simply given up thinking all his photos were lost until we came across your post on this site just surfing around one day.  If you have any of these pictures left, it would mean the world to myself and  most especially my grandfather to see them again.  My grandfathers B29 was designate v square 55 and flew missions from Isley Field Saipan.  Any help you could possibly give us would be greatly appreciated!  Thank You!
