SSGT JACK FLOWERS & "MARY LOU" 730 BS

Hello all,
I am researching the military service of Jack R. Flowers who served with the 730th Bomb Squadron.  In a wartime news article, it states that he served as a tail gunner on the "Mary Lou".  Does anyone have any info on this aircraft?  Maybe even a photo?  Also is there a listing of the 452nd BG missions?  I would like to know what missions were flown from Feb 1945-April 1945.  Thanks! I appreciate any info you would have!

    Hal,
Thanks very much.  I made a mistake on the aircraft name.  It was actually the "Becky Lou".  I typed in the name from memory instead of checking my info!

S/Sgt Jack R. Flowers, 35903474, was assigned to the 730th BS / 452d BG on 21 Feb 1945.   S/Sgt Flowers was the tail gunner on the Hamer crew, flying his first mission on 10 march 1945 and his last mission of the war on 21 April 1945.

S/Sgt Flowers may have participated in "Chowhound" missions to drop food to the Dutch, "Cook's Tours" or POW missions, but the Group kept no record of who participated in these missions.

If you would like load list information, mission list, etc, please send me your email address and I will assemble and provide.
