Roman Sheft (Szefczyk) - 01/18/2005 04:08:27 AM
My Dad, Roman Sheft - formerly Szefczyk, changed it in the late 40s - passed on 20 Dec 2004. He was a radar/gunner on a B-29 in the 333rd. His commander's name was Elmendorff (spelling?). Would love to hear any information about his group or from anyone who might have known him.

There is a website that covers all the B-29s of WW II, including the Korean war. ( sorry,
"Conflict")

http://b-29.org

There are two lists..one for Technical Questions on the B-29 and a Discussion list for all other subjects.
