Request for Information - 80th FS P-38s shot down Aug 21, 1943 - 06/24/2007 04:02:03 PM

Hi All,

I'm currently looking for serial numbers of three 80th FS P-38s which were lost on a mission to Dagua and But on August 21, 1943. The pilots in question are:

1/Lt John Guttel, O-367709 (MIA)
1/Lt Elwood C Krisher, O-437977 (MIA)
2/Lt Robert E Feehan, O-743435 (MIA)

I'm unable to locate details for the MACRs (if any were created) for these losses.

Any information relating to the aircraft they were flying at the time would be greatly appreciated.

Guttel & Krisher have finding of death date as 12 Jan 1946 Feehan..date is listed as 21 Aug 1943.. Terry T.
